Ivss reset
IVSS Root File System Usage Instructions
In order to reduce maintenance workload for x86 systems, IVSS's root file system will be switched to a sysvinit-based root file system that is consistent with N8. Some operations are slightly different from the existing root file system based on CentOS 7.
Grub Entry
To enter Grub, press the * key continuously after powering on until the menu appears. There are currently three menus:
Normal Mode: the default startup mode for the device, which starts Sonia normally.
Recovery Mode: a debugging mode in which Sonia does not start and the serial port output is displayed on the VGA screen. This is useful for viewing device information and performing some operations, such as configuring the network. Drivers are not loaded in this mode, only the kernel is loaded for system debugging. The fixed password is 7ujMko0admin (unrelated to the admin password).
Rescue Mode: a mode that can restore the factory program, open serial port output, and enable the sshd service.
Usage of Rescue Mode
After entering the recovery mode from Grub, the following menu will appear:
[1] recover system
[2] clear data
[3] open console print
[4] close console print
[5] open sshd service
[6] close sshd service
[r] reboot system
input your option:
Menu explanation:
Enter 1 and press Enter: restore the factory program. If there is an upgrade exception or other situation that prevents Normal Mode from starting up, this method can be used to restore the factory program.
Enter 2 and press Enter: clear the configuration partition. This is useful when you forget your password and need to clear the configuration.
Enter 3 and press Enter: open serial port output.
Enter 4 and press Enter: close serial port output. IVSS turns off serial port output by default.
Enter 5 and press Enter: enable sshd service.
Enter 6 and press Enter: disable sshd service.
Enter r and press Enter: reboot the system.
